About the Tournament

Now in its ninth year, the Autonation Saltwater Round-up is proud to be one of the great fishing tournaments on the Texas coast. The Autonation Saltwater Roundup is a one-day tournament designed for anglers of all ages and skill levels. This tournament gives every angler a chance to win the grand prize without bringing in the most fish. This is how it works. This is a boat or kayak tournament. Anglers must come and go by boat or kayak. There are three divisions, a family division, a team division and a kayak division. The family division must consist of immediate family members and their spouses/kids. The team division consists of teams of up to four anglers. The team must fish from the same boat. A kayak team consists of two to four anglers fishing within sight of each other. Each team may bring in three fish; one redfish and two trout**. The teams three fish will be their total weight. There will be prizes for the top three in each division. In addition, there will be a Pre-Tournament Reception and Rules review on Friday night before the tournament. There will be dinner served on Friday at the reception and Saturday at the weigh-in. The tournament will be produced by Texas Fisherman TV.
